5% of profits from all 'Rainbow Caps' sold goes directly to The Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity which aims to address discrimination, homophobia & transphobia in schools and communities through education and programming.

The 'Rainbow Cap' is a simple reflection of our values at Island Life Apparel Inc. We are proud to stand in solidarity with all people in the island life community. The rainbow includes all colours of the visible light spectrum, and I have enjoyed gazing upon many rainbows during my exploration of the Pacific Northwest. Island Life Apparel Inc. is intended to be enjoyed by anyone and everyone who enjoys the island life. As a teacher I am a life-long learner, and I do my best to provide a safe and inclusive learning space for all of my learners. Just as I want my classroom to be a safe and inclusive space, I want to echo that message to the island life community. All are welcome, and everybody deserves to have equal opportunity to a life free of discrimination. Rather than donating 5% of profits from the sale of this hat to conservation efforts on the islands, I have chosen to support The Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity which aims to address discrimination, homophobia & transphobia in schools and communities through education and programming.
